Super cool. The next batch I set, I'm gonna try out the group feature and put in the eggs as being from each group (Pearl, Celadon, Lavender, etc).

Thanks for this! I use Hatchabatch on my phone, but it doesn't have near as many features as this does. Plus, it also estimates the hatch day wrong, so you have to know to add a day.

This is cool. I like how it can track specific groups too and things like percentage of fertile eggs and eggs hatched and stuff.

Could he have sent you the sex linked eggs instead of the Egyptian eggs?

So, that's what I asked them when I had the first hatch have the issue. Said that I hatched half and half and did they maybe send me the sex linked eggs?

I was talking to Jenna, and she did agree to ship me new eggs. In the meantime I gave away the chicks I had hatched because if they were sex links, they weren't what I wanted because I ordered to get Egyptian males, specifically.

She then emailed me back at one point to say that Zack had told her that Pharoahs weren't uncommon when hatching Egyptians. Pharoahs are actually impossible to hatch from an Egyptian breeding group as long as all your breeders are Egyptian, but anyway.

So then I got this batch. Which, of course, again hatched only 46% Egyptian and the rest Pharoah. So either they sent me sex linked eggs twice, and once after I already told them they did it the first time so they should have been super careful, OR their breeding group is really messed up and the 96% true rate they claim is incorrect.

I did email them again after it happened this second time. Jenna just told me she would let Zack know what happened.

Basically at this point I'm waiting to see how the genders come out. If they come out with some of each gender in each color, I'll just live with it because I'll know their breeding group is messed up. If they're sex links, I'm just going to ask for my money back because I didn't get what I paid for.

After finding my notes what you are saying makes 100% sense to me. I was confused before finding all my notes.

It basically is If you know the genetics behind your birds, you can tell what percentage of each color offspring they will hatch.

I've been too busy this summer to release the 0.80 build for the desktop. But hopefully I can get a release candidate out soon for testing before version 0.80. This upgrade would add the advanced egg management like the Android version has.

Umm, I cant get this on my ipad. Lemme guess, because its an ipad?

Yup, Apple is not exactly third party developer friendly. I simply can't afford to put a free app on their store.
