He's mad at me right now because I keep checking on him. He hisses at me lol. I swear I just want to grab and hold him and get him to realise that he is going to be ok. But he is finally actually laying down so I am going to leave him alone and let him settle down for the night.

When you get the video, try and take it outside so the others are out there and hold the duck to get the sounds out of it.

My mom's cousins retired to Sandpoint as well and they love it too.
I have a friend that lives in Coeur a'Alene and I do really love the area. Sure is pretty and a heck of a lot more affordable than around here.

Do you camp out somewhere and wait for the animals or do you get these awesome photos from your back porch?

These were all taken in my field below the house or right from the mailboxes that are 1/2 mile from the house. I used to have them come right up to the house before I changed the perimeter fence around the upper area.

I took the upper window out of the storm door for the times when critters or birds are close enough to just open the back door and use the house as a blind while I take their pictures.

This one was at the base of my deck when I took its picture.

Apartment hunting is a real pain the rear lol but on the bright side, the place I’m looking is really cheap and it seems a lot of apartments in the area include utilities

I keep finding all these places that sound really great or maybe even have a few good reviews on one site but then I Google more and find out all this other awful stuff lol thought I had it down to a couple but then those ones got so so reviews and one even said one of the maintenance workers robbed and murdered some older woman when she caught him robbing the place so that’s out FOR SURE. Idk if it took place at the complex but if they hire people like that, it is no place I want to live. Granted, this review was from like 11 or 12 years ago but still. Some others about bugs, mice, heat and AC problems, elevator and laundry machine problems, at lots of places but I guess that is what happens when you are looking at cheap places and all buildings from like the 60s or 70s lol BUT the good news is I think I finally found 2 that have really good reviews and star rating despite there being a lot of reviews for them cause almost all the reviews are good. So that’s a plus aha

Have you a way to pay for a place yet? First find a job....then apartment.
