⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

Leave them alone. How would you like it if some giant snatched you up from whatever you happen to be doing?
No.
It would be like a nice hug.
And 99% of the time, I'm catching them from being trapped inside the pool cage thingy. Or saving them from my aunts dog.

Catch it! At my aunts house in Florida, she has thousands of brown anoles in her yard. Every time I go I see how many I can catch.
I've probably cought a hundred of them now
I try to earn their trust. Now some if them are quite comfortable with me picking them up and walking around with them.
My dad had green anoles in his yard so he would catch them then put them by his ear. The lizards would bite his ear and dangle like earrings 🤣

You have green anoles there? Not many of them left in Florida. I have tons of green anoles here.

I do the same. Otherwise they end up getting lost and starving.
There is one lizard though who has lived here longer than we have. She eats the ants and all the little bugs off the herbs and has lots if hiding spots.

There's this massive one that has lived in my aunts yard for years. I try and catch it every time, but I never have.

A few here. I see more at my grandparents house (who live just 10 mins away) than I do at our house. I think its because we have a lot more brown anoles here (for whatever reason) which keep the green anoles away.
My dad grew up in Alabama where there are lots more green anoles.

Yeah, the brown anoles will kill the green ones. I've kept a few green anoles as pets. I think the green ones are prettier.
