That's why I never practiced. lol The dogs' howling was enough to make me want to scream. lol

I used to love singing. The last time I did it the director found out I was a countertenor. I got smooshed between the tenors, above the bass line, and next to the sopranos. The only part I didn't sing was alto. It was awful but in a good way. lol I only got to rest during solos. Haha. And I just refuse to sing alto because they never have the melody and I always had to sing the soprano line to give all the tone-deaf older ladies the pitch. lol

I was also the unofficial understudy for Marian and the soprano in the quartet of older men in Music Man when we performed that at a public/community theater. They were ready to mic me off stage and have the actors lip-sync to me. As it was I broke the whole group when one of the ladies was out and nailed her line "And once I got some grapefruit from Tampa!" down to her vibrato. She sang at our church and I'd heard her sing for probably a decade. It was an easy impersonation. She was out and no one knew I was going to hit the line. All the people on stage, off-stage, and the orchestra died. The director was crying she was laughing so hard. So then it was a tradition I had to nail all the stuff when people were out. lol

For anyone interested in seeing the nearly-full performance of Blast!, the DCI group formerly known as Star of Indiana, perform their West End Production on stage in London here's a YouTube link. Anyone with kids in the band, your kids will probably enjoy it. I can't seem to find the rest of the show. Malaguena that I linked above is their finale. But there are probably another five to six numbers this video is missing.

I've been playing the violin for 7 years. I most enjoy quartets, I hate solos, and I'm apart of the Symphony orchestra. (Woodwinds, brass, and percussion alongside the strings). I had my last ever fall concert as a Highschool student last night .
