To me looks like 2 Darth Vaders, 1 wild type, 1pied. From the pics I'm unable to sex.

This is exactly what I thought, but here's why I'm so confused. People tell me these can't be feather sexed but lots of people also agree that there are 2 Darth Vaders in pics. Online all I can find is that Darth vader males and females look very different, see pics. Therefore, I am not following why they are not obviously male if they are indeed Vaders. Sorry for my dilute explanation, I am just so confused, lol. I very much appreciate your opinion. Thanks x

I'm right here with you. I have one that is a Darth Vader, dark, with a bib, that I was sure it was a male going by those same drawings. I'm also very confused now.

Hi, I don't suppose anyone can help with some updated pics of some of my buttons. Am I right that the two red and blue are male? Also, is anyone able to confirm what the colours are called. In the first and last pics I would say that the two on the outside are male and the two middle are hens.

No way, I could never be that lucky. Would you say that the red and blue ones are Darth Vader males? Sorry, I'm just getting confused as to why they are hard to feather sex if they are Vaders, because the pics I see online show that the Vaders are very different looking, male v female? I'll trust @007Sean on the colours. I'm not great with colours, mostly because I just care about whether or not they're pretty.

I agree, 2 males and 2 females. A wild female and the lighter one looks like a darth vader female. Maybe pied darth vader if there is such a colour? The darker male looks darth vader as well. It is a variant of the normal red breasted where the face is darker. But I've also been confused when I've seen it be referred to as blue breasted instead of red.

Omg, how sure are we guys?! I could never be that lucky, lol! Thanks for your help. They are currently living happily together, now I am unsure how to split them because they all huddle and eat in a four, not 2 x 2 if you know what I mean! I too am very confused by them being called different colours all over the place! Xx
