10 week old Barred Rock - male or female?

Photos of “Wrinkle” today at 10ish weeks old, and at about 1 week old. Comb and wattle are very developed compared to the other pullets but this is the only Barred Rock I have so nothing to compare to!

That barring and comb look a lot like a cockerel to me. But I am still new to this.

Oh thank goodness! First time chicken keeper here, we ended up with a very aggressive Easter Egger roo and I was worried about this one too based on growth/comb. Thank you!

The barring seemed whiter than it should for a pullet to me also but I’m super green so I came here

I believe that is a cockerel. Barred Rock pullets have more black than white. Cockerels have more white than black.

I am mostly comparing it to mine so I could be wrong. But this was mine at 10 weeks
