13 hens... yet 29 eggs a day. Suspicious?

I too am waiting to hear the results of the "marked egg test". Looking forward to learning how this feat was done

I've had a hen lay 2 eggs a day for several days in a row, but that's because I was feeding her beef mince mixed with oats and milk as a treat in the afternoons. I suspect hormones in the beef might have been responsible. Whatever the case, I figured it wasn't good for her and cut back the excess protein.

It may be a prank (29 eggs is getting a bit outlandish), but I'm voting 'wait and see'.

I was just thinking the same thing!! Maybe too embarrassed to admit she'd been had!

I've been following this thread and I've been thinking it too.
