how muchIn sweden (and maybe other countries too, but I only know that sweden does this) we get paid to recycle cans,
Just a fun fact![]()
They do that here in California, USA.. as well.. Also included is plastic water and soda bottles, and glass beer type bottles. It supports a large population of homeless folks (or those with the capacity) digging in trash cans to collect them (some make awful messes, while others are respectful). That's why many states have not employed that technique.. also the lines around the few facilities that offer redemption are most often ridiculous. In sweden (and maybe other countries too, but I only know that sweden does this) we get paid to recycle cans,

Not much,how much
woahNot much,
50 cans are usually 5 dollars
But a getting a huge bag of cans is a literal gift to give little kids
a 2-liter bottle of soda every day?!I drink 2 liters usually one daily.
That's interestingWe used to recycle cans, but it just wasn't worth the effort to the folks when we stopped. The recycle place had a wheel that you could spin once per so many pound you brought in with different dollar amounts on it. Each spin, you got what you landed on
When I was younger I would go door to door asking if people had left over soda cans or bottleswoah
