Hello and welcome to my chat thread

I’m making another one of these because the last one Went a bit silent and I was starting to talk to myself... Am I really that boring??

Allow me to introduce myself.
I live in Ireland.
I have 30 chickens, 27 Brahmas, blue buff columbian, golden partridge, blue partridge and lemon Pyle are their colours, I could go through them all individually but I wouldn’t want to bore you..,1 RIR, 1 buff Orpington and 1 buff Orpington mix.
only had around 10 chickens at the beginning of last year but I became a bit of a Hatchaholic.. it was around 50 at one stage
...
The plan was to breed them but they ended up getting a respiratory illness so now I’ve decided to keep them as a closed flock. Which is kinda what I was going to do anyways because no one was buying the roosters and I just had so many.
15 ducks, the colours are magpie, Rouen, khaki and a few mixed. 10 Guineas, 2 cocker dogs, 2 rabbits 2 cats
some of my favourite hobbies other then caring for animals are garden design, interior design, painting and sculpting...
My cottage garden.
the garden consists of plants that attract butterflies and bees such as butterfly bush/ buddleia , sedum, delphinium, Ligularia dentata, red and yellow broom, sunflowers, petunias, bleeding hearts, montbretia and a few others
that I forget the names of..
there are also around 30 roses in there and there’s a few trees such as blue spruce, blue cedar, holly and junipers.
this next one is the patio.
it consists of different types of exotic plants like windmill palm, canary island date palm, musa basjoo the hardy banana... yes I grow bananas and palm trees here in Ireland.. bamboo, different types of hosta’s, Japanese maples, phormiums, cordylines, musella lasiocarpa, calla lily, ligularia, gunnera, fatsia japonica,Miscanthus sinensis Zebrinus, passion vine, silver spear, canna lily and different types of coleus
More photos of the cottage garden
I like to grow sunflowers every year because they are beautiful plants, they’re great for wildlife and they put a smile on everyone’s face.
so... I’ve introduced myself.
now it’s your turn
