3 1/2 week old chicks outside?

So we have 3 chicks that are about 3 1/2 weeks old that have been inside. They were getting a little crazy and making such a mess. Im in southern ontario and its about mid 40's for the real feel at night and about a high of 50 durning the day. I keep reading different things about when they can go out. We set up a small coop that we have on the property with fresh straw inside it. We but their heat mat thing out their with them. They just start to like go to sleep and seem a little freaked out but I guess who wouldn't be lol. So I'm just wondering if I made the right decision on taken them out or not. Thanks

They'll be fine. They're just nervous because they're somewhere new.

As long as they have heat they will be fine.
