Hello there all!
I have 4 roughly 8 month old laying hens which I got from TSC on April 5th this year. I'm looking to possibly trade these 4 for more oriental breeds like Polish/cochins/Ayam cemanis/Phoenix and more. Only breeds I'm unwilling to accept are Silkies.
I originally got them for egg purposes, but as I now want to get into selling hatching eggs (and not eating them), I'd like to sell/trade the less oriental breeds as they have a tougher time selling egg wise. I also prefer smaller breeds over larger ones, as I find them much more laid back.
Information about the hens:
I have 3 Red Sexlinks and 1 Leghorn hen. I'd prefer giving them as a group, since they've been together their entire life. I will only go down to 2 - I will not trade/sell a single bird. They've been laying for roughly 1/2 months now, and lay an egg every day. If pictures of the eggs are requested, I will be happy to show you. None of them have physical injuries, or look/act unhealthy. (Pictures will be provided)
Trade wants/price:
I'm looking to sell them for anywhere within the range of 5-10 dollars per bird. This would be 40 dollars for the 4, and if bought in 2 groups, then 20 per group of 2 birds.
As for trading, I love hatching eggs and chicks, but would much more appreciate full grown ready to lay or soon to lay birds. If hatching eggs are offered and I do accept them, please give me a days time to prepare the incubator. Anywhere from 2-3 dozen hatching eggs, 4 chicks(or more if offered), or 4 juvenile and older birds would be more than fine. I'm always appreciative to talk, and if you'd like to offer you can reach me on this profile.
I will not accept text messages that are not about the birds, and a final price/offer can be negotiated. I'm in the New Meixco area, and willing to travel to El paso/Alamogordo/Las cruces to give the birds.
If you have any questions/would like to ask or offer, please leave a comment on this post, my profile.
Thank you for looking, and have a wonderful evening!
>>pictures shown are older from right before they started to lay.
