Marans not laying eggs yet at 8 months

My wheaten marans, Fancy Nancy, was purchased as a chick in mid February, and layed on September 12, so right about 7 months.

I have two BCM pullets who hatched on July 1st, and I'm still waiting on eggs from them. I'm curious if they'll lay sometime this month, or wait for spring. So I'll wait with you!
I think this could be from one of my two pullets. It's speckled differently and a slightly different shade than my other two marans eggs. But I don't have time to chicken-stalk until Saturday!

Really pretty eggs! I'd love to see some speckling like that from my flock. I'll be keeping an eye out for eggs with speckles and will incubate them. So far every egg has only the faintest hint of speckles. The background in these photos should be white,

Oh I gotcha! Yes definitely the same. Mine are very adventurous. Have big personalities. I adore them and was hoping to get some more which is why I contacted Heather. Wish I had gotten a roo from her.

I recently culled seven cockerels, any of which you'd have been welcome to. Getting lots of fertile eggs if that is of interest. Have yours started laying?

My BCM, Teriyaki, hatched July 9. We started getting eggs from her about 4 days ago. They are bigger than the eggs from my wynadottes and light brahma.
