My adorable 4-month bantam frizzle Bell is not doing well. Found her 2 days ago huddled barely moving and brought her inside. She is not eating or drinking on her own and I have been using an eyedropper to give her fluids (water, corid). At first she pecked at some mealie worms, but now not even that. Yesterday I gave her egg, putting the food right into her beak. She really wasn't into that, but is letting me give her yogurt mixed with feed today. Her poop is mostly white and fluidy, see picture.

No other hens or pullets are sick (I have 12). I started today giving her selenium and vitamin E since she seemed twitchy. I also gave her some tumeric today, so the yellow tinge to her poo is probably that. It was milk white before the tumeric.

Another note is that she is seemingly delayed compared to the other chicks from her cohort. She was the last to learn to go on a roost or up a ramp, and she never has been very active.
I am worried about Gumboro given the symptoms but it would be odd for only one chick to get it. I got her from Meyers Hatchery as a 1-day old, and I have 5 of her sisters as part of my 12.

Update: this morning she made a perfect chicken poop but still is completely inactive, won't eat or drink, just stays in corner or if I put her on her little roost she stays there.

Crop was empty this morning.

Anything further I should do to help her?

Poor little thing!

Can she see well?

What are you feeding? I see something in the dish, what is it?

I'd feed her a Chick Starter Crumble.
Make sure she's drinking well - if you are giving Corid+water(?) ensure this is the only thing she's drinking.

If you feel she has Coccidiosis, you can give her a direct oral drench of Undiluted Liquid Corid at a rate of 0.10ml per pound of weight twice a day in addition to her drinking the mixed Corid water (2tsp Liquid Corid to 1 gallon water). Give for 5-7days.

Is her crop emptying?

I would give her bits of scrambled egg for the Selenium. Do give her 400IU Vitamin E though.

Once she's done with the Corid treatment, then introduce 1/4 tablet B-Complex.

Since she's always been a bit behind than the others, she may have a genetic or developmental issue that is causing some of her problems and she may be failing to thrive.

As for Gumbaro, perhaps(?) anything is possible, but it's usually seen in younger birds and is very contagious, so I'd think you would have seen symptoms in at least a few others within the flock.

If you happen to lose her and want to find out what caused the decline, having testing/necropsy would give you the most information.

That is organic boiler feed from a local source. That is what all my chickens get and then I supplement calcium for those that need it. She has not been eating on her own, however.

I am doing the corid drench. Will check crop in the morning.

Yes she can see. A few days ago she pecked at some isopods I gave her (they were moving at the time).

If she passes, I do plan on a necropsy. But I really hope to save her if at all possible.

See if she will eat some wet mushy feed, a bit of scrambled egg or similar.

I hope she improves.
