4 week old pekin bantams gender

Hi I have two 4wk old chicks can anyone tell there gender yet ?? I'm desperate to no

It's always hard to make a solid guess at this age, but so far, chick number two looks like a little boy. I had a brother and sister pair of Cochin bantams like these once, and the male looked different pretty early on.

Keep in mind that's not definite. Cockerels and pullets can sometimes grow at different rates than their peers. I raised two cockerels once who were the same age, and one had twice as much comb and wattle by eight weeks as the other.

If you do have a male and a female, the difference should be completely obvious by 8 weeks. Egg laying is the only way to be completely sure, technically, since some hens grow spurs and crow. But that's not super likely. Chances are, you'll know in about a month. You could post pictures of them at that time if you want more sure opinions.
