Hey everyone! We went ahead and bought 4 Chicks from tractor supply. They were labeled as “premium pullets” and the lady said that they were all guaranteed female egg layers. Well, some of them aren’t looking so feminine 😆. What does everyone else think since I’m not the best at sexing chicks yet.

I'm still new at this, but that last one doesn't look like a SLW? Different comb type? Following this thread, because I have a couple nearly 3 week old SLW that I am anxious to know about too!
Oh yes! Some hatcheries will randomly throw in a non pure chick in the mix. especially this year with all of the demand they have been selling not great quality chicks. Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong on that tho! 😊

No, it's common practice for hatcheries to add single comb to rose comb breedings as it's believed the rose comb causes lower fertility in males.
