Hello!
Long story short, I ended up with a 5-week old silkie that has scissor beak. I have absolutely no idea how to maneuver through this. I didn’t even know what scissor beak was until today. I know there’s no cure and it’s going to take an extra amount of care to keep this baby alive. I don’t even know why I’m posting this. I guess I’m looking for any help or hope I could possibly get because I’m feeling like shit about this situation. She walks around perfectly fine and she spends a lot of time trying to eat because I know she’s probably not getting down most of it. She’s really light and doesn’t have much of a crop. I haven’t seen her poop yet. I also noticed she has something growing on the left side of her beak. I’m hoping the pictures help. Again, any help, advice and hope would be wonderful.

I have to be frank, culling is probably the best option here unless you're able to tube feed her on a consistent schedule. This is a very severe case and will likely worsen as she ages. The fact that you noted that she's very light and trying to eat all the time means she's starving.
