North Texas - chickens 10 yrs
Hatched here from my friend's eggs. No nasal discharge. Eating well, laying, when the sun shines, she does tend to sleep separate from rest of flock, she is my only white hen. Eyes clear, not losing weight, but originally a couple of sneezes, maybe a week ago, and now it's more of a cough, but it disappears when she is eating watermelon. I have put a little Rooster Booster in their water, no other chickens with any symptoms. I looked up bird flu and she is way too energetic for that. They are in a netted run away from wild bird food of any kind. Allowed loose a couple of hours in the afternoon. No sick birds locally that I know of. Tempted to dose her, not sure with what.

Can you get a video of what she sounds like?

Upload video to youtube and provide a link.
You can also use the BYC Gallery, just let us know where to find it.

I'd check her crop to make sure it's emptying. See that her nostrils are clear of debris. Look inside the beak to make sure there's no lesions or canker.

Respiratory illness usually will have other symptoms like mucous, watery or bubbly eyes, facial swelling with pus, etc.
