4 and 8 cannot walk at all they are dragging themselves and missing toes 1 is definitely fully blind so he’ll be an indoor pet quail 5 is semi walking but bleeding 6 also seems to have bumble foot and is bleeding a bit
@TeresaW has a few quail who can’t walk. She has a special pen for them. Do you have any tips Teresa?

They appear to be full adults, so 30% game bird starter isn't the best for them. It might be good to start them on it for a week or two to make up for poor nutrition, but adults don't need as much protein.

Here is what you want to be looking for in their feed:

Thank you they are full grown but definitely need the protein I have the feed from my turkey chicks so they’ll be on that for about a week then switched

Sadly not rescued this was meant to be my new breeding pen bought from a local breeder I’ve rescued rabbits and chickens in the past from breeder in the area at this point I think it’s a local thing to get rid of animals like this
It’s sad for the animals, but if you buy them, you just support the breeder. You will get some out of a bad situation, but also encourage the breeder to get more.

Some of my rescued rabbits and chicken weren’t even bought they were dumped at parks stores and in the middle of nowhere if I had known the conditions of these dudes I probably wouldn’t have gotten them since I’m dealing with sick hens

Ok. Good for you to rescue the ones you have. :hugs Please keep us updated on how they’re doing.

I’d ask for my money back or write a yelp review, those birds shouldn’t be sold as a breeding flock, sadly lemon laws only apply to cars! I wonder how old they are? It is one thing to overlook a slight injury in a large flock but half your birds obviously have issues. I wonder if this is representative of their birds or they culled a bunch and stuck you with them, sorry!
