8 of 12 eggs never hatched

(bare with me on the questions)

What kind of incubator? Does it auto roll?

What temperature reading and humidity reading? Did you have a calibrated thermostat or thermometer?

Do you know for certain if they were fertilized?

Ambient temperature or house? Location?

And, there are some good threads on here for candling, it took me a while to figure out what I was looking at too. At times you can try to take a photo and post here.
This is my incubator. It does auto roll. It has an internal thermostat that kept it at 100* and approximately 35-45% humidity until lockdown, then 100% and approximately 70% humidity. I bought them local and they were advertised as “fertilized.” They were set next to the front entry and out house is kept between 60-70*.

Have you checked the temp in the incubator with a calibrated thermometer? Most of the cheaper incubators from Amazon run either hot or cold, so it's best to double check the temp with a separate, known reliable, thermometer and adjust the incubatortemperatureto account for the difference. 100° is a little high for a forced air incubator. With air movement providing a more steady temp throughout the incubator (vs the layered temp you get with a still air incubator, where the temp at the top can be up to a few whole degrees different from the temp at the bottom) the target temperature is about 99.5°

Please don't skip candling! you wont be sure what to do with the eggs if you don't candle. What type of flashlight are you using?
Here are the 12 I was planning to incubate next…they almost all have scattered specks throughout.

Have you started these? Or are they sitting room temperature? What color are their shells? White ones are easier to see veins once you get them going.

The first two look funky

The last one you can see the yolk near the middle.

I am not an expert by any means, I've just read this forum over and over again learning all I can. I'm not sure who to tag though for assistance. @TwoCrows ?
