9 year old hen laid her first egg in a year or two!

My sweet little girl laid an egg for the first time in a year or two! Is this a miracle or does it happen more often than I realize? She laid eggs consistently for 7 years. Just curious! She will be 9 years old in less than a month.

I think she is a black star. Not for sure. She has bn an amazing egg layer but this is incredible!

Wow thats amazing!! I cant answer either; my oldest are 3 years old (I certainly hope they live as long as yours!).
