A little different way of adding chicks

The way to make it work Hip Hillbilly Farm is to use the size difference between them. They call them one way gates, and the littles can run through, but the bigs cannot. Have a lot of hideouts, and multiple level surfaces. A safe zone for the chicks that the older birds can't get through, and within a few days, the flock is established.

Okie, thank you. :)

Too bad there is not a print option. So many posts here that I'd love for my Chic Notes. I know, I can re-write, but there is something about my reading in the original form and it sticking. [shoulder hunch]

You know the little ribbon at the top of the post let’s you bookmark so you can quickly find it again.

I have 18 bags of washed wool and never used it for the chicks. I was afraid they would get tangled or something. My house has radiant in floor heat, so I did not even use a light bulb this year. Even the floor in the garage is pleasant.

Next time I may make poms with the wool (or the alpaca).

Copy - Paste works. But actually, I went back to the original post, right-clicked with my mouse, and chose the print option. Works fine! Got the whole thread.
