Our boar is a GOS. He is very sweet and his pen is much less rooted up than the pen the Duroc is in and the other pen the Hamps are in.
I would definitely get another GOS to breed and replace the Duroc and the Hamps.
Our Hamps are very friendly pigs, they are just really big sows. Our largest Hamp sow, Patty is like a big dog. She rolls over to have her belly scratched and she lets us lean on her to check the piglets. Her daughter, Pig Pig, is the same way.
I don't like the Duroc at all. She isn't as friendly as the other pigs.
