I can't help but have some acorns drop in my run as I have two large oaks right next to it however my birds don't seem to go all that crazy for them .
Living in an area that is mostly oak forest and TONS of wild Turkey that eat acorns as fast as they can find them I'm not to worried about acorns effect on fowl
