My duck was attacked by an eagle. At first he seemed mostly unharmed, albeit rather traumatized and there was some blood in a few spots and he couldn't flap his wings like normal. Last night his wings started drooping like he was struggling to keep them up but today they seem like they are in a normal position but still not able to open them all the way. The first portion of the video is last night and the second part is from today.

Just from visual, do they look like a normal position and he's just in pain from the attack or could they be broken?

He's not eating very well but he is drinking and is interested in foraging and walking around.

Thanks!

Poor duck! I think she is doing OK and you should just leave her be at this stage. When I have had ducks that have been attacked, I have immediately cleaned up puncture wounds with clean water and sprayed with gentian violet [my preferred antiseptic] or betadine. At this stage your girl is recovering and just needs time to get over the bruising

Thank you! I think you're right.

I have had ducks get Angel wing and they droop and can not hold them up. I have tried different things and found that that cheap electrical tape works well to hold them up and would probably help with the pain. the best part is it will come off by itself in a few week if the have a pond to swim in.
