One of my Easter Egger chicks named Amber, almost overnight started getting a cross beak some weeks ago, I feel as she is 'growing' it's getting even more crossed. I say 'growing' in quotes because, as shown in the attached photos she is quite smaller than her sisters.

She seems to be eating and drinking and pooping, though has to work a lot harder for it that the others, I have been putting a bowl of mashed soaked crumble in there for her several times per day and washing her face after meals, as she scoops sideways and gets her face dirty. I've looked up info on caring for her but I guess I just want some opinions from people looking at HER; AMBER Specifically rather than just the 'idea' of a scissor beak chick... And maybe help me temper my expectations for her? She's so small, but she's eating and drinking from what I can tell? Occasionally I give her a pipette of water to get her use to a syringe in case it comes to syringe feeding in the future.

Any advice for moving forward with her, or how to know if it's cruelty to keep going for her? Thank you in advance for anything you can give me.
