Hi! I have an almost 20ish hour old chick and one that’s only an hour at the most old. The older one keeps pecking it and being aggressive! How do I stop it? The oldest isn’t dry enough to move out of the incubator. The picture is blurry but that’s the mean one!

Your chick is not aggressive. What it is doing is no different than babies grabbing hair, faces, fingers and biting to figure out what things are. Chicks don’t have hands so they peck at things. What you are seeing is normal fresh hatched chicks that are energetic from the start.

I had this happen during my latest batch...at first I thought one chick was being aggressive, but realized that he/she was pecking at a yellow spot on the others' face, just above their beaks, thinking it was food. I just basically waited for an opportune moment to take the older chicks out and placed into their brooder.
