I'm getting the sinking feeling that this whole batch has very high levels of inbreeding. Luckily, I have another batch of unrelated birds.
Some of their hatchmates have other small deformities too. Crooked feet, crooked feathers, weirdly thick necks...
I'll have to cull a few if I plan to breed more. Or, start breeding quail-pugs lol
