The aliens group is now with the frizzle group 9 days age difference.

Some frizzle is showing with the aliens chicks. They are currently not in the same pen with the bigger ones, they were too active.
I am hoping the Aliens are girls.

I think the rooster, Loop, has been mating my blue hen. Unfortunately, I just found him this am, he must have fallen from the roost, and got wedged by an nest box. I plugged that hole. Amazing it was a rooster and not a favorite hen. (Opps now I said it.)
Below is the blue hen she is very affectionate.

Here is the fertile egg?

Thank you. It was not a rooster I planned on keeping, but I do have some roosters ordered from Meyers coming and can chose a new one.

I thought the rooster was just caught on nest boxes, his neck was messed up, but I could not think of anything else. I went out again and one of my hens was missing. I looked on the ground and another hen was laying there neck was chewed, just then a white mink poke it's head out at me and duck back. I packed up my other birds and put them in my mudroom. I chased it out of the coop, and tomorrow I will pull away all nest boxes clean behind and put up wire in cracks. Let me know if you have more advise.
