Hey everyone! I had a quick question. So I have two Pekin ducks, both female, and then 4 hens. They are both separated so I usually feed the chickens normal layer feed and then my ducks duck pellets. But lately my tractor supply hasn’t been carrying them so I was wondering if I could do an all flock feed? I know on the tractor supply website it says so but I also am aware that ducks need more than chickens. They both have oyster shells on the side and then some peas along with mealworms as treats. I just want to make sure my ducks will get all the nutrients they need if I end up having to use an all flock feed.

I feed all flock to my ducks when our tractor supply is out of duck crumble which is almost always, an employee at TSC said its perfectly fine to feed them all flock.

In my opinion I think you're doing great! Sounds like a well balanced nutritional feed

We feed DuMor All Flock from Tractor Supply to our ducks. They eat it up like its the best food on the planet. My girls lay super great eggs. The males are strong. Everyone is super healthy. I have no issues with it. I did the research and it has everything ducks need, down to the niacin content. We love it and I would recommend it. It's hit and miss around here with Duck food. Sometimes they have it sometimes they don't. From what the manager says, they don't order much of it, since there isn't a high demand, so when it goes, it goes and then they order a small amount again. So, I was tired of the battle and store hopping.

I found the same issue with lack of availability, i was ordering a couple bags every couple weeks from a “local” feed store, say that as i have reason to be in that town routinely. Then he started either selling my bags to someone else or not getting it in. I went to another feed store an hour away in a direction I have no other reason to go, but i buy 3-400 lbs at a time, the price is good and they are a terrific store with all sorts of goodies for the dogs, cats, wife and myself. We make an outing out of it. I buy nutrina but the dumor is pretty darn good comparing labels.
