All hens have severe feather loss!

My husband and I are new to chickens and we have 12 hens and NO roosters. All of our hens have severe feather loss on their backs/butts and it’s getting worse.
Egg production hasn’t dropped off and there are no sign of pests.
Any clue what might help them?

Describe feed routine including treats and supplements.

Sometimes, feather (or hair) loss can be from diminished protein.

Mine have the same problem, I’ve tried extra protein, lice treatment, apple cider vinesgar in their water and no change it’s been most of this this year trying to fix this problem…I don’t know what else to do either..suggestions please

When you say extra protein are you just giving extra protein foods or did you change their feed to a higher protein feed such as a 20% flock raiser feed?
