Aloha!
Its been over a decade since I have raised a flock. My job, at the time, was very demanding and my schedule was unpredictable. It was unfair to my flock. But I was recently promoted and now work a simple 7-4, 5 days a week job... and I couldn't be happier! So I get to be a chickie mama again!
I'm keeping my flock teeny tiny, with only 2 hens. I was told 1 is a Lavender Ameracauna (I think this may be incorrect because the chick is black?) and one is a Shetland, which makes sense because the pictures I've seen online look like her.
So without further ado, I introduce my little tropical princesses, from the North Shore on the island of O'ahu... Mahina (moon) and Hoku (star)!
