I have five eggs in lockdown right now and I just want to make sure I have everything right.

I have a little Govee thermometer/hygrometer monitoring everything and the temperature is rock solid but I feel like the humidity might be a little high. Should I keep the humidity on the higher end or should I lower it slightly? I added a bit of water because it was starting to dip under 70% but I don’t know what the best range would be.

I have a camera inside so I can monitor them without messing with anything.

I think you're going to have some chicks in a few days!

The humidity is just an average. I would be concerned if it's at 75% and climbing. It will get to there or higher when they hatch, but that's temporary and I don't worry about it. I shoot for 65-70%.

Wonderful! I’ll just keep letting it drop for now.
I have a broody with a pair of early siblings sitting on an empty egg so I can slip them under her when they hatch. She’s being a great mama, I can’t wait to see her with a tiny army 🥰

3/5 hatched on the due day. We lost one, and the other had some complications but seems to be doing better now. Hopefully it will be well enough soon and be able to join the rest of its siblings
