I am trying to find out if my wee one is an Amber star sexlink. Also I am not sure what is meant by Feather sexing ? / Not colour sexing? I know this sounds daft but I dont; know what I am looking for and am despirate to find out if she is a girl!!!!!! I am not allowed to keep roosters here and she is such a pretty wee love.










Well if anyone can let me know I would be grateful.

Don't know on the breed, but looks very girly to me. How old? Older than 10 weeks you are probably safe she's a pullet.

Does she have white or red earlobes? she could be a white leghorn if her earlobes are white.

Sorry I cant tell, but how old is she ? Mine just started laying Wednesday or Tuesday. I forgot which one, but we got three this morning!

She is 12 weeks old! She is a beauty and very friendly. She eats out of my hand no problem and gets picked up and stroked a lot. She is very soft! Lovely feathering. I just put two baby Maran pullets in with her, they are ten weeks and she didn;t bat an eyelid. Very friendly with them both and she hasn;t had another chick with her since we lost her sibling at just a week old.

I think you have a pullet. She looks just like mine did.

I am pretty sure her earlobes are red. I will check in the morning? But I am pretty sure they are red from memory.
Oh you guys soooo cute is this. - We play ball in the yard with the dogs most evenings and the chick Sits on her perch watching the football! Now there are two little tiny Maran chicks with her for company and they get on great so anyhow the football stand is full! They all love to watch - DH picked up a small ball and told me to put it in the pen so I did and guess what she went straight over to it and started trying to play pushing it with her beak and kicking it round it was a laugh - the wee ones just ran and hid! They are about 9-10 week but she is 12 weeks so is a bit bigger.





They are wonderful and she is sooo friendly and cute - I can't get over how good she is.
