Oh my, that stinks! I too had an experience with lavender americauna's. We love the blue eggs. However out of 8, only two hatched and one of them was deformedWell I had a classic case of counting my chickens before they hatched. When I candled at day 10 they were all infertile. The breeder kindly replaced them with another batch of 13 and I just threw away 11 of those this morning that were also infertile. I have two in the incubator right now, only one showing proper development. I’m in denial about the second one. It looks like I’m going to have a lonely little Ameraucana if she/he hatches. I took a picture of that one “$100 egg” this morning. I’ll keep that picture to look at the next time I think I’d like to order expensive hatching eggs. lol!
Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I wonder if there is generally lower fertility with Ameraucana.Oh my, that stinks! I too had an experience with lavender americauna's. We love the blue eggs.
