I saw somewhere that planting (specifically) American Elderberries next to the coop or run where they can get at it's leaves and fruit...ripe and unripe is beneficial to your flock as its good for their health. I'm new to elderberries and kinda new to chickens.
Your thoughts please

oops! This was NOT intended to be categorized as hatching.... I'm new here and don't know how ttot choose the totpiic I guess. Sorry

A commercially made BALANCED age appropriate poultry feed is good for the health of your birds.
Elderberries would be considered a treat so I wouldn't give them unlimited access to them.
A couple berries her and there shouldn't hurt.
