Hello again everyone,

I am posting this again , I have seen my hens and rooster not taking interest in food. Had watery brown smelly dropping s. Checked them and found bumble foot.

Now I just want to know which antibiotic works best for bumblefoot and intestinal track infection.

I have

Ampiclox
Amoxicillin

Suprax and tylosin with erythromycin.

What should I do now?

I have ointment polyfax .
Thanks.

Can you please post some photos? (whole hen/rooster, their feet and their poop)
In your other thread, you were treating for intestinal infection? How did that work out?

If you can take samples to the vet for testing that is always best.

Yes dear I am having multiple issues with my flock. Intestinal track infection along with bumblefoot.

I took them to my vet he prescribed amoxicillin and flagyl. But he is not an avian vet. I Am giving them but have not seen an improvement yet.

Their combs are getting paler. Their poops are like tar coloured . Energy level is going down. It seems like that they are not absorbing nutrients.

They are anemic . I think they have tozins build up in intestines. A bacterial infection. clostridium . Sulfa drug like bactrim helps but if they have anemia should I still govg it to them ?

Totally confused now how to deal with this.

Do you think they may have Necrotic Enteritis? Sometimes that can be very damaging to the intestines where the bird has a hard time recovering if at all. How long have you been giving the antibiotics?
https://thepoultrysite.com/articles/necrotic-enteritis-1

Bumblefoot, if there is a scab and pus, generally that needs to be removed, antibiotics will not dry up the pus. Photos would be very helpful.

What are you feeding your birds?
How old are they?
Where do you live (state/country)?

If you can give them a bit of yogurt to eat that may be good. Cooked white rice with buttermilk is another idea. This would be in addition to their regular poultry feed - I would probably offer that wet (made into a mash).

They are very pale , nutrition is not absorbing in their body. What should I feed them?

I was thinking about that too, it could be enteritis.

Five days been completed so far. Earlier they were on sulfa drug and amprolium . Vet was thinking that it could be coccidiosis.

Did the tests , negative for any parasites.

Should I start bactrim it can help in enteritis?

Bumble foot , vet prescribed corn cap along with neomycin , bacitracin zinc powder. Is that ok? They have fever too. Their absomab ateais a bit hot as compare to other body parts.

Where are you located in the world? This info really helps when recommending products.

I can't see how a corn cap would stay on a chicken's foot. You would wrap it like shown in the video below.

Do your chicken exhibit symptoms of respiratory infection? Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, etc.?

Coccidiosis overload could accompany Necrotic Enteritis. Can you vet test some fecal samples for you.

I am living in Pakistan. Thanks alot I will try to wrap that up the way she is doing.

No they don't have any other symptoms. But sometimes they sneeze occasionally.

Fecal parasite test done. It came out negative. Coccidiosis would be included in that or there is some other tests for that?

Their breast bone is prominent now. Losing weight. Which antibiotic is best to give with less side effects on liver and kidneys?

There are lots of feathers atouar , they might be going through their moulting season.

Hepa merz my vet said can support livet function while the birss are on antibiotics.

Their test report, sorts it's upside down.

Thanks again !!!
