After the passing of Hen HeiHei a friend of ours who has chickens offered my wife 2 layers to make up for the the loss. So we added Blanch and Ingrid to the flock. They are two back yard mixes but our friend suspects some silkie in one of them.
Blanch is the smaller of the two. And they are both very docile and not as skittish as our original 3. And we are still expecting 4 in July.
