Androlis Chicken Mite Predators

I’ve used Androlis predator mites to get rid of mites in my coop and on my birds. You need to make sure that you have no “mite killer” dust or spray in your coop before you release the predators in there, as that will kill the predators!!!
Release the predators in your coop then wait. They really do work! My coop and birds were red mite free in less than 10 days.
I will never use anything else now.
Seems strange all stuff to kill red mites work on predators but not red mites I have had a real bad infestation hens will not go in the coop

They do work but there's a problem. The predator mite only feeds on mites that are full of blood. This means they'll only eat the mites that have already fed on the chickens. This means the chickens still get bitten and it's the mites biting that's the problem, not that they are in the coop running around.
