Angel Wing and Blue Swedish

I've been raising ducks for a few years. I'm still a novice despite the amount of ducks I've brooded and raised. But, in the several years that I've had them I've never had Angel Wing. I have my first two angel wing ducks.

I did change things this year:

Based on advice someone told me to up my protein to 22% to have bigger meat production.
(after seeing the angel wing I'm thinking this was bad advice)

I switched to Blue Swedish for the first time. Is there a correlation between the breed and angel wing? Or, do you think it was purely the switch in feed and unrelated to the breed?

I've tagged them to be culled from the breeding program. Since it wasn't the entire flock I wonder if genetics had something to do with it?

I've offered some rabbit feed (for the alfalfa) seperately and free choice.
I've wrapped the two but I'm not confident I did that well.

Any other tips and advice on the topic are appreciated.

One hen was affected, left wing backwards
One drake was affected, just droopy wings.
They are 6.5 weeks old.

I never saw Angel wing until I bought some hatching eggs. I personally believe it's genetics. Others say feeding.
