Is there anything to worry about when trimming the feathers that block their vision?

I don't thiink so I have never cut their head feathers. I just wouldn't cut them really short when you are cutting them you should have a bowl of flour by you so that if you get a vein you can put flour on it. Flour will stop the bleeding and it won't burn.
