Hello! I have this chicken who pooped ( normal poop) with intestinal lining for 1 week straight. I thought it might be cocci so I immediately treated him with amprolium and fed him yogurt. After 2 days, he got diarrhea. It was green with intestinal lining and i believe he has clostridium perfringens. So I tried to feed him again with yogurt then he poops normally again but with intestinal lining still :( I can't afford to bring him to the vet because Avian vet here is expensive. I want to give him antibiotic but I'm not sure if this one that I have is okay and effective. Pls advise.Thank you so much im advance.

Just to give you info:
My chicken is 11 weeks old. Not lethargic. He is eating and drinking water. He is really active. But his feather (on the head part) is starting to ruffle.

It is always best to get to get a diagnosis with a gram stain and fecal float. Occasional intestinal shed can be normal. But since this is not possible, your antibiotic should treat c.perfringens. The 2 tsp or 10 grams per gallon can be given for 7 days. Then try to use some probiotics. Using antibiotics without an actual diagnosis can create antibiotic resistance. Be sure to keep all bedding dry and clean, and prevent them from pooping in their water.
