i am confused...
but the smudge and eraser have the same brushes taht the paint does

Thank you! I wasn't planning on making her cute, it just kind of happened.

So normally I don't post in-progress stuff, but this one was so unexpected and so amazing that I'm super excited to share it. The bottom 3/4 is basically perfect for a space scene, so my challenge will be how to merge the top and bottom together and still fit in the theme of my painting series (this is supposed to be 9/9). This will be a fun challenge.

A little behind the scenes stuff: the circular splatter pattern behind the pic is the result of this painting sitting on a 12x12 lazy susan. I spun it to try and keep that dark blob somewhat centered and push the paint out away from the center of the canvas more uniformly. Normally I hand tilt these. Glad I followed my instincts this time.
