Any artists out there?

I think I'm calling this done although I might just meditate on it and make a few small changes here and there later

That's incredible! You engraved that? People would pay a ton for that - ever thought about doing it profesionally? If you're not already a professional. Also, did you do that on a pocket knife?

I work from my own home studio doing fine art engraving and making fine custom jewelry :) I worked 12 years as a goldsmith and ended working full time for someone else 3 months ago. This job sold for $650. It is a custom made stag barlow lockback folder made by John Lloyd, purchased by a collector and sent to me for the engraving.

Wow! You must have such a steady hand. What tools do you typically use?
I'm not sure, I think I am just very trained for this fine work under a microscope. I use a lot of tricks to cut a good cut, but at the end of the day... it's practice. I use Steve Lindsay's foot control classic powered by nitrogen. My scope is the Leica A60 on the flex arm with a .60 auxiliary lens. My vise is the GRS standard ball on a shimpo banding wheel (really nice bearings), that's bolted to a modified bench grinder stand. Here is my studio.

The picture I posted previously (and am still looking for a better picture) is a sable antelope done with charcoal and graphite. A family member requested that I draw her an elephant in front of Kilimanjaro, here's the sketch. Started shading it yesterday, will post when done. Graphite sketch. Everything is done on paper.

There's more on my deviantart page that i'm too lazy to upload here lol
You're art is amazing. I love the ones with the colored pencils! I'm trying to get more into water color and be able to mix colors and blend them but I'm so used to using a pen or a pencil
