I don’t read manga, but this video is something I can really relate to. It has one swear in it if you were wondering.
My hard work is what makes my art good, not talent. My God given gifts were passion, and creativity and love for art. It wasn’t any easier for me to get good than the average person. Anyone can do as well as I can. Some people are naturally talented, but that just means it doesn’t take them as long to learn. Art is 90 percent work and 10 percent talent. Hard work is what helps people realize their dreams. Calling it “talent” kind of undermines the hours people spend honing their skills.
