Ahhhh the GOOD OL DAYS.
We had two, and I found but one picture online of the type we had:

I remember the tedious, yet rewarding task of making the entire screen black. I accomplished that two or three times.

I never did any real drawings on it and I can’t really remember it, but mine was more like this and the color of the drawings were black.

Mine would have a few pixels that were always black no matter how much I erased them, but still, that thing was a treasure.

Designs for a large solid black opal. I will also be doing a ring, then I'll be doing a suite of bicolor tourmalines

Recent setting work....... the kind that makes you want to throw up.

12 ct tourmaline flanked by 1ct cadillac diamonds pre-polish

Local lapidary repolished this stone for my client from the girdle up only, not down the pavillion, so it's kind of noticeable that the facet junctions on the pavillion side are a little chippy. Either way, breaking this species is incredibly easy to do and I'm always happy with a nice clean set without incident
