Any artists out there?

That's very cool. I've never used oils. When I have time, I'll take a couple pics of ones I've painted to share. I'd love to see more of your work. Painting is time consuming but therapeutic.

When you paint like Bob Ross, it’s not too time-consuming. It’s just therapeutic.

If you truly want to paint like him, look at this video. He explains everything you need in regards to equipment and technique.

I watch Bob's reruns just about every day - or have them on in the background while cleaning, etc. I use his products (acrylics) paints and brushes. For me, still learning, it is time consuming. There is no way I can produce a complete painting in 30 minutes time. It is definitely therapeutic.
Below is his Lighthouse one I painted with a little different twist and the other one i call "turbulent seas" is my creation the day one of my favorite chickens died and I needed a stress reliever. That one start to finish took about 90 minutes.

Those are beautiful! They have a calming mood.
