I need help planning ahead for a meal. Let me tell you my situation.

It looks like my grandmother is getting ready to pass away. That’s all I’m going to say, I won’t go into details.

Anyway, here’s where he needs some advice. What types of food and recipes would be appropriate for a funeral?

Can someone please give me some ideas? So far, all I have is funeral potatoes.

Update.
Here are the photos. Yesterday morning it was bubbling big time as per photo.

I was overly excited, so I started working on a bread dough. I worked on it 3 times yesterday and this morning baked it and that is what it looks like.

It is crunchy on the outside, soft almost like sandwich on the inside and a bit sour. The starter was ~240g

I saved a bit of the starter and put it aside until I build it up really big to bake a big loaf.

It smell nice during the starter process, I think the yogurt did that.
