Any Home Bakers Here?

Speaking of molasses, I somehow had three jars, plus the one in with baking supplies. I turned the nearly empty jar upside down in my stand mixer bowl, and walked away. When I returned, I was a bit surprised by how much molasses had actually been in that jar. I now have about four bags worth of dark brown sugar. :lol: I have used it with joy the last few days, knowing I have a lot more.
I just fed Jennifer, and will bake bread tomorrow. Nothing as adventurous as Rich though.

Consider using milk instead of water. Makes bread soft.
May also consider using tangzhong. Easy to make.

Don't see why not to try in regular wheat bread. :idunno

Molasses is very good at making the yeast more active.

powdered milk can be used too and some of them have more fat in them.
