Any ideas on gender!?

Hello! So I just hatched this little baby. It is a silver Swedish crested duck and it’s the only one of its hatch. Its bill looks like it will turn black as it ages. This makes me think it is female because the males usually have yellow bills so I would think a male duckling would have a pink bill. I’m I too early? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I don’t believe Swedes can be sexed off of bill color so early.

In all of my ducklings born with dark bills like this, regardless of gender, their bills would darken after a week or so, and then slowly lighten back up (or maybe stay dark in the case of female swedes?). I don’t think I noticed any bill color differences until around 5 – 6 weeks old.

OK, thank you! I’m very upset because only one duckling hatched, and I cannot keep any more males and if this one’s not female, I have to sell it. I’m gonna wait a few days to do vent sexing.
