anybody have any remedies for newborn thrush?

oh my goodness.

That is horrible. I know sugars and compromised immune systems do play a major role with yeast. Im glad you got it under control and I pray you never have to go through that again.

they go to the doc this morning ...have not heard from them yet....I will post an update when I do

Update....he went to doc they gave him nystatin.....I told her to stop giving him the karo syrup untill his thrush is better....the doc said Gentian violet is hard to come by and if you find it you better keep some....I dont understand that....anyway I am going to see if I can order some online

There are several items I have always kept as must haves when I have babies in the house. They always need something in the middle of the night when the store is closed. lol

I would like to find some genetian violet just to keep on hand.....thought about ordering online

Walgreens has it online. It is a great antifungal and has many other uses. The small bottle goes a very loooong way. lol
